Register OnlineHigh rates of chronic disease made for a perfect storm when COVID-19 hit rural America. Seeking solutions, a Colorado team of health experts interviewed rural health leaders and patients across their state. The result is a national toolkit and playbook, Re-Imagining Leadership: A Pathway for Rural Health to Thrive in a COVID-19 World, released last fall. In this session, you’ll hear real-life stories of empathy and community engagement from one of the playbook’s authors, Benjamin Anderson of the Colorado Health Association. His insight will empower healthcare leaders to coordinate efforts for healthier rural communities.
